GoalScorer is a World Cup–themed simulation game built on Equity Bank Kenya's real Goals Savings Account mechanics. No real money is involved while playing — but the decisions, the maths and the outcomes are true to life.
Set up your Goals Savings profile
Enter your name, phone number and date of birth. Choose a savings term (1–5 years) and a monthly saving amount starting from KES 500. Pick a tier — Steady Saver, Strong Player or Champion — just like a real Equity Bank Goals Savings Account.
Draw a life event each month
Every turn is one simulated month. You draw a card — a World Cup windfall, an unexpected expense, a career milestone, or an emergency. Life is unpredictable; so is the game.
Make a financial decision
Each card offers 2–3 realistic choices. Top up your savings? Withdraw from the fund? Skip a month? Your choice directly impacts your balance. There is no single "right" answer — context matters, just like in real life.
Watch your savings grow
After every decision, your balance compounds monthly at your chosen tier rate (Steady Saver 6% / Strong Player 8% / Champion 10% p.a.). Your regular monthly savings are added each turn.
Advance through tournament stages
Progress through Qualifying → Group Stage → Round of 16 → Quarter-Final → Semi-Final → THE FINAL. Each stage represents a savings milestone. Discipline wins tournaments.
Earn points every turn
You earn 10 base points per month completed, plus bonus points for smart decisions. Optimal choices score higher. Milestone bonuses reward reaching Year 2 or completing the full plan. Points convert to a real head-start on an Equity Bank Goals Savings Account.
